I am very happy to teach at the Czech school. Thanks to my education in teaching and the smaller number of students in the classroom, I am able to tailor the teaching methods to their individual needs. I am very impressed with my students language skills, especially because Czech is not always their mother tongue.

In 2012 When The Czech school of Portland opened I was excited to be part of the first team of teachers. My classroom consisted of children ages 3-5 and a variety of Czech language knowledge. I stayed at The Czech School until 2017. I also taught Czech to several adults.
I studied Secondary Pedagogical School in Prague and recently earned a degree from Psychology and Spanish at Portland State University.
I'm extremely happy to be back in The Czech school

I'm so excited to rejoin this team as the new principal! In 2012,I was one of the founding members and teachers at the Czech School Portland. My sons were among the first students. I feel honored to be a part of this continuing effort to teach our native language to our next generations.​
My 30+ year work experience includes teaching students of various ages and backgrounds in Oregon Public Schools,MHCC,NWFS,IRCO and CSP. I have a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, Active Oregon Teaching License a Bilingual Endorsement and TESOL Certificate.
